About Allie Schrenker

My career path went from rugby pitches to entrepreneurship ecosystems, and the through-line has always been the same - building teams and creating opportunities for people to do their best work. I played professional rugby for the USA Women\'s National Team while getting my Master\'s in Entrepreneurial Management at Durham University. Those years gave me a front-row seat to entrepreneurial ecosystems in completely different contexts - from the UK to the US, from scrappy startups to structured accelerator programs. When I hung up my boots, I jumped fully into this work. Now, as Partner Success Manager at FINSYNC | CO.STARTERS, I work with 65+ community organizations across the country - accelerators, nonprofits, EDCs, and entrepreneurial support organizations - helping them design, run, and continuously improve their entrepreneurial programs. I consult on what\'s working, what\'s not, and how to better serve the entrepreneurs they\'re supporting. A big part of what I do is collect insights from across this network and connect the dots - sharing what\'s working in one community with organizations facing the same challenges somewhere else entirely. Before FINSYNC, I was Director of the Small Business Accelerator Program at Better Business Bureau, building curriculum and partnerships from the ground up. Prior to that, I led community engagement at The Company Lab for two years, supporting 450+ rural founders across 10 counties, growing regional programming from 5 to 30+ annual events, and building relationships with 50+ partner organizations. The work I\'m drawn to is the infrastructure kind - the problem-solving, connecting, and strategizing that doesn\'t always make headlines but makes the difference between an entrepreneur giving up and getting funded.
