About Alli Cuentos

Alli Cuentos is a mama, daughter, sister, partner, creative and birth and full spectrum doula. She is a founding member of Community Well, a holistic family support center in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco. She is Co-Founder of SisterWeb and currently serves as a Co-Executive Director. Alli is also involved in the cultural community in which she lives as an educator, muralist and performer within the Beautiful Beginnings Arts Collective.Alli has supported nearly 600 births as a doula, mentored dozens of new doulas and taught hundreds of expectant families in Childbirth Education classes. Alongside of finding her calling as a spiritual birth worker, Alli has designed curriculum, coordinated early education programs serving immigrant families as well as taught in public schools and early learning settings. Alli is a self-taught research and evaluations nerd who appreciates her patient mentors and Youtube. As an artist, story keeper and archivist she is firm believer in the power of stories and history to guide us in achieving a collective vision of justice and liberation. ​When not having kitchen dance parties with her sweetie, four kids and pets, she can be found wandering in Glen Canyon, sewing Carnaval costumes or looking at old pickup trucks online.
