About Allen Nieva
I am a senior undergraduate student at Princeton University studying Psychology with minors in Neuroscience and Statistics and Machine Learning, pursuing a long-term career objective of becoming a scientist-practitioner in clinical neuropsychology. My research integrates topics from clinical neuropsychology, health psychology, and behavioral medicine. I adopt a biopsychosocial approach: investigating the etiology, maintenance, and treatment of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders from a health equity lens. I am particularly interested in the interplay of neurodegenerative disorders and mood disorders a) over the lifespan and b) under the moderation of sociodemographic markers.As I pursue doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology, I am seeking service and research opportunities that directly serve and study clinical populations.
