The Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES) is the only national organization designed exclusively for the independent or consulting professional earth scientist. Members include geologists, engineers, geophysicists, geochemists, and other earth scientists.Since 2011, I have been involved as a volunteer with SIPES on both a national and local level. Our active local chapter, one of Houston’s premier energy groups, provides highly qualified professionals with opportunities to network and share valuable information. Services today include working as a member of our local board and as editor to the monthly newsletter.In 2016, selected by my peers to serve as the Membership Chairman of the national organization.Elected President in 2020.
