About Allen George
I am a second-year Auditor at Deloitte in Houston, Texas, and I am originally from Coral Springs, Florida. I am currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas. I completed my Masters in Accounting and Analytics in Spring 2024, while having completed my Bachelors in Accounting and Finance in the previous year, both degrees from the University of South Florida. My audit engagements so far involve global industries such as oil and gas within the midstream sector, as well as digital assets and Blockchain. During these engagements, I have helped developing testing strategies and been a part of multiple company divestures as an auditor. I have experience with PCAOB standards for Internal Controls, within my progressing experience. I enjoy learning as much as I can about different aspects of Accounting and Financial topics- especially developing different knowledge databases involving risks and internal controls over reporting, surrounding different FSLIs- so I am always open to learning new skills!Also, I work well in team environments, as a leader and member, as well as in an individual capacity.
