ABOUT ALLEN JOSE

I am a master\'s thesis student at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where I simulate the transport of coolant in the metallic bipolar plates of a PEM fuel cell stack using COMSOL Multiphysics. I am completing my MSc. in Space Engineering from the University of Bremen, where I learned about the design, development, and operation of spacecraft and space systems. Before joining DLR, I was a mechanical design and simulation intern at ThrustMe, a startup that develops innovative propulsion systems for small satellites. There, I prepared structural and thermal simulation models in HyperWorks and COMSOL Multiphysics, and designed parts and assemblies in SolidWorks. I also received training from Altair on HyperWorks pre-processing. In addition, I was a student research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for Material-Oriented Technologies, where I co-authored a publication on the properties of gas-atomized Cu-Ti-based metallic glass powders for additive manufacturing. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve challenging problems in the space sector, and I am eager to collaborate with and learn from diverse and talented teams. I believe I can bring a unique perspective and experience to the organization, as I have a multicultural background and speak multiple languages, including English, German, Malayalam, and Hindi.
