   In my role as a Lead Program Specialist, I focus on supporting youth self-sufficiency services through workforce programming and wraparound supports. My primary responsibilities include overseeing business services for workforce programs, managing the implementation of the Denver Youth Employment Program (DYEP), and providing technical assistance and training to DYEP staff. I also deliver self-sufficiency training to employer partners and Denver students.I manage employer relationships, coordinate youth enrollment, ensure program compliance, and build partnerships to support DYEP and other workforce initiatives. Additionally, I work closely with a team of DYEPcase managers, offering technical support and systems management to ensure students successfully transition into post-secondary education or employment.I also assess processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and alignment with district and grant goals. Throughout all these tasks, I strive to maintain purposeful, positive, and professional relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of programs that empower youth and strengthen community engagement.
