Leading a team of data engineers and data scientists to implement the state-of-art recommendation system for the UK marketplace from scratch. • Perform team lead responsibilities such as defining roadmap with various stakeholders (Product, Legal, Partner and etc.), setting OKRs, tracking deliveries, sprint planning/retro, interviewing and mentoring. • Owning multiple services from design to on-call duties; covering the full life cycle of data/model management. Recent projects including 1) Credit Vision Ingestion pipeline to Feature Store; 2) Model training and auto refresh via Vertex AI. • In depth knowledge of building complex machine learning platform in Scala and Python with extensive utilization of GCP tech stack such as GKE for hosting, PubSub/Dataflow for data ingestion, BigQuery/BigTable for storage, and Vertex AI for model training/serving. • Advocating the team\'s work and evangelize machine learning inside the company.
