I am currently a Shareholder and Chair of Stark & Stark’s Business & Corporate Group. Throughout my years at the firm, have gained extensive experience in a broad range of tax, trusts and estates and general corporate matters including sophisticated estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts, closely-held business counseling and business succession planning, the structuring of business entities and joint ventures, the acquisition and sale of business interests, and various corporate, partnership and individual income tax matters. For the past 30 years I have served as the Chair of Stark & Stark’s Business Succession Planning Group, where I counsel businesses and individuals and assist them through complex life transitions. I work with clients to review corporate documents such as: operating agreements, corporate books, partnership agreements, wills, trusts and buy-sell agreements. I urge business owners, families and individuals to prepare and plan for unexpected events, before a crisis occurs. I work with my clients in order to develop a plan to avoid ownership and control disputes among family members and shareholders upon a business owner’s retirement or untimely death. Once a plan has been developed and approved, I then work closely with each individual client in order to implement those goals in the most timely and cost effective manner.
