Manages the R&D engineering team responsible for developing Converged Systems 750 (CS750). The CS750 product is an HPE factory-integrated, pre-configured (server, storage, networking, and management) virtualization system. The CS750 product is a customizable industry-leading modular, repeatable and scalable solution to optimize mixed workloads (e.g. VDI, Cloud, business applications, etc.) Responsibilities include: product development, people management/skill development, project management, defining product requirements, quality assurance, defect management, budgeting, pre-sales engagements, executive/customer briefings, customer escalations (including L4 support), and offshore management. Key Accomplishments: • Developed newly integrated infrastructure product for HPE that compete against Cisco (UCS), IBM (PureFlex), NetApp (FlexPod), and Dell (VxBlock). • Enabled production in Houston, Prague, and Singapore. • Resulted in a significant number of installations and hundreds of millions in revenue. • Managed initial development team and then as product grew, facilitated the segmentation of functions (e.g. QA, life cycle, level 4 support, and software automation/validation) into a full engineering section. • Integrated products include: ProLiant Blades/DLs, Primera/3PAR/Nimble Storage, HPE/Arista/Cisco/Composable Fabric Networking, HPE OneView, VMware vSphere 5.5/6.X, and Windows Server 2008/2012 (Hyper-V)/2016.
