A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives\"- Jackie RobinsonSince earning my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in marketing from John Carroll University, I knew that I wanted to be a difference maker not only in my career, but also in my community. My alma mater echoed these sentiments with their motto \"Men and women for others\". Throughout my 4 years in college, I completed various volunteering projects, and have befriended a diverse group of individuals. These experiences allowed me to gain a holistic view of my community, and that my actions can make a difference in someone\'s life. I currently work as a learning ambassador and process guide at Amazon in Twinsburg, OH. In this position, I have the opportunity to interact and engage with various employees. While personally achieving top notch results is a great feeling, it\'s an even better feeling when I help someone else improve their performance. This was the case when I helped one employee increase his efficiency by 60%, while getting to know him better and befriending him in the process. I am currently working on earning a social media certification as I believe it will help me as I pursue a career in social media marketing. Much of this field is based on content, and I enjoy writing and promoting myself as I progress. My goal of being a difference maker can be achieved in this career because by creating content and blogs, I can help myself or a business promote why they do what they do as well as raise awareness for social and environmental causes through a business, therefore helping businesses surpass the triple bottom line.
