Alan McDonald is President of AllConnected Inc, a company that he founded 20 years ago to provide innovative local and wide-area networking solutions to businesses in the Ventura and Los Angeles County areas. In 2005, Alan made a strategic decision to shift his business focus to security and Managed Services with the goal of introducing a more structured services model with a specific emphasis on increasing value and building a recurring revenue base. The decision resulted in the introduction of three new branded services, the creation of a network operations department designed to respond to AllConnected’s 24/7 monitoring system, and the implementation of new methodologies, best practices and a more structured way of maintaining customer networks. Today AllConnected provides Managed Services for large and small companies, from 10 nodes up to hundreds of network devices and servers, in the education, healthcare and SMB markets. Managed Service offerings include Cybersecurity, DataCenter, Network, and Orchestrated Disaster Recovery.
