ABOUT ALLAN ROBLES
As a Senior Consultant at BRE, a building science research organization responsible for the world\'s first green building certification program, BREEAM, I assist clients in achieving their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives for their real estate portfolios. Through BREEAM, organizations have the opportunity to manage their current real estate risk through a holistic sustainability lens. Additionally, I improve and iterate the BREEAM program development and customer journey in North America, ensuring the standard\'s consistency and integrity. Before joining BRE, I had over 17 years of experience in sustainability; I have successfully delivered outcomes for hundreds of projects across various green building rating systems, including LEED, WELL, and Parksmart. My passion is to create the benefits of aligning ESG criteria with the needs and expectations of all stakeholders, including investors and occupants. I research and apply the latest trends and best practices in the built environment, including greenhouse gas and energy reporting and disclosure, on-site water reuse, and climate action plans. In my personal life, I\'m an unapologetic queer advocate for social justice for historically underrepresented groups, with a passion for health, wellness, and fitness.
