Over the past few decades, I’ve been all over the banking and fintech space as an executive, entrepreneur, consultant and leader. There are many things I am proud of since starting my career in 2001, but the most impactful include:1⃣ being a part of at least $350MM in credit extended to small and midsize businesses in various industries across the U.S. and Canada (Comerica, Bank of Texas, BBVA)2⃣ launching a payments fintech that supported small businesses in the U.S. that processed over $10MM in payments (PaidUp)3⃣ leading a team of corporate bankers, commercial treasury and specialty finance professionals to over 30% YOY growth with a top 15 bank in the U.S.(Regions Bank)4⃣ being part of a team that acquired a bank charter building the technology stack and innovation strategy which led to being recognized as American Banker’s Digital Banker of the Year in 2022 (Encore Bank).5⃣ making a successful transition over to the technology and fintech side of the banking-financial services space to lead global sales at a notable consulting-integrations firm.So much to be thankful for, but still so much left to do.
