Design and implementation of a new global DNS backbone, Collaboration with the Network and Storage teams to understand global architectures and ensure that any underlying infrastructure that is deployed meets targets for line of business applications. The organisation has moved to an on premise consolidation from the M&A activities and has started implementing our Office 365 migration. Areas of focus include: • Active Directory 2012 Upgrade from 2008• Active Directory Design and replication topology engineering for a new consolidated environment.• Datacentre Migration including new build and technology re-location between Datacentres.• Forefront Identity Manager implementation and configuration• Exchange 2016 Design and Consolidation of 8 Exchange Organisations• Office 365 integration Exchange, Sharepoint, Skype for Business• Office 365 planning Yammer, OneDrive• Global Datacentre Location rationalisation• Skype for business and Enterprise Voice Design and Deployment• Global DNS backbone implementation• Vmware rationalisation/ upgrades 5.0 to 6• Discovery of corporate data and restricted data to establish DLP and document controls for the transport and storage of sensitive data. • Recording of data to ensure legal compliance for specific customer engagements.• BIG IP GTM and F5 Implementations• Implementation of Nimble Storage in the UK• Implementation of a Hitachi SAN in Europe• Co-ordination of Platform migrations to newly implemented SANs• Acquisition planning, Day 1 activity governance – Strategies around moving forwards through the integration.• Office 365 planning• Cloud Analysis priorities for longer-term strategies.
