ABOUT ALLAN BATALLA
After some time doing research and studying science, I made my way into tech. The one thing I haven\'t let go of from science is my interest in understanding and solving problems. I joined ContactMonkey where I now help organizations inform and engage their employees. I can\'t solve problems if I don\'t understand. Better understanding comes from better listening. I\'ve volunteered as a mentor for over five years and worked in customer experience for at least one. I\'ve worked with children, supported first-year university students, and handled customers\' financial concerns. Those thousands of conversations have equipped me to listen to understand. My training in science has equipped me to better analyze problems. In my current role, I get to do both.
