ABOUT ALLANA LEBLANC
I am working as a Senior Policy Advisor with Office of the Chief Data Officer at Health Canada. My goal is to help Canadians live healthier lives by making science and data more accessible to all. I have a passion for knowledge translation and making data more excisable for everyone. I did a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, but only after working as the Knowledge Manager at ParticipACTION. I have a PhD in population health from the University of Ottawa, completed my MSc at Queen’s University in kinesiology and epidemiology, and graduated from Acadia University with a double major in biology and kinesiology.
