Eke Panuku Development Auckland is Auckland\'s urban regeneration agency. We help to rejuvenate parts of our city – from small projects that refresh a site or building, to major transformations of town centres or neighbourhoods.We manage around $2 billion of land and buildings that Auckland Council owns, which we continuously review to find smart ways to generate income for the region, grow the portfolio or release land or properties that can be better used by others. We identify development opportunities, plan and prepare the ground to attract private investment and make it easier for others to take on the development of houses and commercial buildings. Together with our partners we unlock the full potential of this land to create spaces for Aucklanders to love.My role is to ensure the development team uses its skills, knowledge and market connections to achieve our objective of facilitating an increase in housing supply whilst balancing commercial objectives with community needs.
