Design and Development of RF circuits up to 30GHz for high volume manufacture: LNA, Receivers, VCO, PLL, Power Amplifiers• Experience in Digital communication system architecture • Familiar with wide range of RF test equipment and measurement techniques• Working closely with both Internal and External customers• Customer de-bugging and support at overseas factories• Preparing Statements of Work for external vendors and reviewing bids• Supporting sales and marketing teams• Multi-layer RF PCB’s using PADS. Good understanding of layout to minimize parasitic effects• Good understanding of BJT and MOSFET device characteristics and circuit topologies• Sound knowledge of analogue electronics, i.e. stability, negative feedback and Bode Plots. Op-amp theory, limitations and applications• Sound knowledge of circuit theory and principles• Good hands on bench skills• Component selection and characterisation• Working closely with component suppliers and their applications team• AWR MICROWAVE OFFICE and Agilent ADS• Self-motivated with experience in Project Management and leading a team of engineers • Team player, co-operative, always calm and methodical under pressure
