ABOUT ALLAN JAMIESON
I am where I am today from my passion for the Transport Industry.I started working for Currie European (Now Currie Solutions) when I was 16 years old – I’ve worked hard and developed many skills which helped me progress from “the boy” to Operations Director. In my role I am responsible for coordinating the day-to-day transportation operations: monitoring performance, delegating tasks accordingly and conducting regular follow-ups with business objectives. I have key skills in leadership, communication, data analysis, working under pressure and to deadlines, problem solving and providing a memorable service to the companies ever-growing customers, building strong relationships with every customer. Part of my role also involves being hands on with the operational side of the business; managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and traffic planners to ensure the smooth dispatching, routing and tracking of delivery and collection vehicles. The highlight of my career has been becoming the Operations Director for Currie Solutions. I worked hard to earn this promotion and it was what I was aiming for in my early days of starting at Currie Solutions.
