Supervisor of PM Shift housekeeping crew for 400+ room high volume, full service hotel. Hotel is located across from Suntrust Park and is a Braves hotel. Oversight of closing of floors at the end of the day. Assist in processing PM status reports. Ensured all staff keys are returned and proper paperwork is completed. Handled large turnover of rooms on a regular basis. Inspection of completed, cleaned rooms. Oversight of the common areas including lobby, valet area, indoor and outdoor pool and restrooms. Reviewed the housekeeping points on the guest feedback forms, took actions on guest complaints and shared guest compliments with staff members. Worked with loss prevention on any issues or concerns. Submitted requests for repairs and periodic maintenance of cleaning equipment. Selected, staffed, recruited, hired and trained qualified PM housekeeping candidates. Ensured calls from “At your service” are handled in a fast and courteous manner. Maintain supply room is stocked, clean and organized. Assign special cleaning projects to PM staff. Assist in cleaning and servicing of guests rooms when necessary. Maintain inventory of roll away beds, linens and refrigerators. Verified linen closets on guest floors are cleaned and stocked. Complete walk through of guest floors in evenings to remove any items left in hallways. Prioritization of room checkouts, early departures, room moves and vacant dirty are a priority for evening shift to complete to Vacant ready.
