ABOUT ALLAN EYLES

I care about building delivery organisations that are empowered, purposeful, and designed to scale in speed, quality, trust, and outcomes. At Tyk, I’ve helped shape how we deliver: moving from quarterly releases to 90+ per year, embedding SCRUM, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, scrumban and agile practices, and designing a multi-squad structure grounded in flow, autonomy, and aligned outcomes. I’ve scaled the delivery org from 15 to 70 in five years, protecting a culture of radical responsibility.I lead operational initiatives across the org, using design thinking and service design principles to lead operational transformation, combined the LEAN process design, team topology enabled flow / interaction, Wardley mapping, and value chains. Most recently I led the end to end transformation of our customer success team, from proposition, value chains, process optimisation, measurement, culture, and flow / team. I\'m part of Tyk’s leadership team, and I’m most energised when helping others succeed—whether that’s through better operating models, clearer delivery cadences, or supporting teams to shape their own charters and ways of working. I believe delivery is a system of people, mindset, and purpose, not just process.
