Transformation often begins with a conversation -sometimes a question, sometimes a moment of reflection, and sometimes a learning space where people realise, they are capable of more than they believed.Hi, I’m Alka:):) I work in the space of Learning & Development, facilitation, and leadership capability building. What continues to inspire me is the moment when learning creates a shift, when someone begins to communicate with more confidence, lead with greater awareness, or recognise the role emotional intelligence plays in the way we work with others.My journey into training began in the education sector. I spent over a decade in Dubai working with schools, where I designed learning environments, supervised learning spaces, and delivered professional development workshops for educators. Those years shaped my understanding of adult learning and showed me how the right learning experience can influence mindset, confidence, and performance.Over the years, my work has taken many forms- from voice and accent training to team building sessions, from helping individuals prepare for interviews to facilitating conversations around conflict management, stress, and workplace communication.What I enjoy most is working with people at different stages of their journey — students stepping into the professional world, managers learning to lead teams, and professionals wanting to communicate with greater confidence and presence.Many of my sessions revolve around themes such as personality development, public speaking, communication skills, presentation and business etiquette, time management, confidence building, and emotional intelligence. Sometimes it’s about strengthening practical workplace skills; sometimes it’s about helping someone find their voice.At the heart of my work is a simple belief: learning becomes powerful when people choose to embrace it. When individuals decide to grow, they begin to lead differently — with clarity, empathy, and confidence.And if a learning experience can help someone think differently, speak with confidence, or lead with greater awareness — then the work has truly mattered:):)
