ABOUT ALKA PANDA
I graduated with a degree in Political Science and International Relations and spent the past few years preparing for the UPSC examination. While I didn’t take the conventional path, the experience shaped me in meaningful ways. It strengthened my analytical thinking, discipline, and resilience, and gave me a deep understanding of governance, society, and public policy.In 2025, I made a conscious decision to pivot toward a career in human resources after securing admission to the MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations program at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). This marks an important step in aligning my interest in people, systems, and social impact with the world of work.I am particularly interested in areas such as HR strategy, talent development, industrial relations, and people analytics. I am looking forward to learning, contributing, and growing in environments that value inclusivity, ethical leadership, and continuous improvement.
