This externship is a 2-month program hosted by Extern in collaboration with Amazon, focused on solvingthe company’s multi-billion-dollar new hire retention challenge.• Conduct an end-to-end data analysis by scraping and cleaning public employee reviews(Glassdoor, YouTube) with Python and applying NLP and AI tools to identify root causes and key sentimentdrivers behind attrition.• Develop a data-driven strategy by segmenting the workforce into high-risk cohorts, culminating in apilot-ready intervention for stakeholders to improve the new-hire experience.
