ABOUT ALJOSA MITROVIC
Licensed professional engineer with over 10 years experience in the water/wastewater treatment industry. I am a big picture, forward-thinking person with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Hard-working and passionate, I love learning new things and am not afraid to take on challenging tasks.My previous work experience includes the following:Design of industrial systems which integrate process equipment such as pumps, blowers, valves and piping. Hydraulic calculations. Design and structural analysis of skids and platforms according to ASCE 360. Design of equipment for heat recovery such as shell-and-tube heat exchangers, vent condensers and direct-contact water heaters. Design of reverse osmosis (RO) systems.I am familiar with principles of dissolved air flotation (DAF), ceramic microfiltration (CMF) and ultrafiltration (UF). I have operated pilot units, carried out treatability studies and written proof of concept reports for customers.I am capable of managing multiple projects from start to finish and have been the sole technical body on many jobs up to in value. I am passionate in my work and have a deep respect for the engineering practice as a whole and look forward to making my contributions to the industry.
