As a Frontend Engineer within the time and billing team at Canopy, an accounting practice management software, I focus on ensuring a streamlined and efficient user experience. Leveraging my expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML/JSX, and CSS, I engage with frontend microservices to enhance invoicing, productivity/time tracking, reporting, and payment processing experiences. Additionally, I contribute to or lead infrastructure initiatives that have impact on both application users and in-house teams.One achievement includes successfully completing a comprehensive payment facilitator (PayFac) migration project. This involved not only maintaining existing PayFac functionality but also implementing new payment onboarding processes. Collaborating within a cross-functional autonomous team, we navigated tasks ranging from UX design to integrating internal and external datasets, ensuring a streamlined frontend implementation.In addition, I play a key role in managing various payment processes on the client portal and secure link, enhancing the overall user experience and ensuring the security of financial transactions.
