In this role, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the MSE (mechanically stabilized earth) retaining wall systems on a major highway interchange project. My role includes managing the full lifecycle of MSE panel logistics, from coordinating load sheets and deliveries to verifying field installation against engineered plans. I actively interpret roadway and structural drawings, extract elevation data, and conduct on-site measurements to ensure construction aligns with design specifications and tolerances. In addition to field responsibilities, I support project controls by reviewing material invoices and assisting with cost tracking. This position has given me practical experience applying civil engineering concepts in earth retention, transportation infrastructure, and construction management.
