ABOUT ALIYU SAADU
Aliyu has been a sports fan his entire life. He eats, sleeps, and breathes sports. He enjoys talking about sports all the time. Even as a little kid, while everybody was watching movies such as Cars, and Air Buddies. Aliyu was watching SportsCenter highlights in the morning before he went to school. His role models were the late John Sanders and Stuart Scott. Aliyu Saadu is a journalism major at Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Saadu has contributed to WHOV-TV, a TV station at Hampton University. Aliyu anchored a newscast for WHOV for sports. Aliyu is a commentor for ESPN Plus, he calls games for volleyball and basketball for Hampton. In 2019, Aliyu called two Hampton Football games for WHOV radio with Richie Summerville. Aliyu\'s has done floor directing work with the WHOV-TV newscast team is in the involved in the National Association of Black Journalists. Aliyu\'s goals after college is to become a sports anchor for ESPN. On his spare time, he goes to YouTube and watches other sports journalists reels and sees how other sports anchors deliver their news for their respective broadcasts. Aliyu\'s favorite things to do is watch sports, read about sports, and tweet about sports.
