ABOUT ALIYANA RESHAMWALLA

I’m a final-year Law and Psychology student at Nottingham Trent University with a focus on leadership, access to justice, and representation in the legal field.Alongside my studies, I’ve co-founded and led several national initiatives that aim to empower underrepresented voices and improve career outcomes for young people:• Founder & President, South Asian Law Society (SALS): Building inclusive spaces within legal education and bridging culture with career progression.• Co-Founder & COO, VEDA Women’s Club: Leading the development of a UK-wide community supporting women in personal and professional growth.• President, Young Leaders Nexus (YLN): Overseeing national programming focused on youth employability and leadership development.• Legal Intern, ADR ODR International: Contributing to digital mediation projects and promoting access to alternative dispute resolution globally.I’m passionate about the intersection of law, psychology, and leadership — and how these fields can be used to drive sustainable, systemic impact.Currently focused on scaling youth leadership programmes, building legal-community partnerships, and contributing to a more inclusive future across the legal and social sectors.
