About Aliyah Konarkowski
I’m a technical healthcare writer with a passion for learning, horses, and travel. Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved reading and writing; but as I got older my interest in anatomy and physiology grew. That was until I realized how much math was involved. So, I tried my hand at equestrian studies, but quickly learned my love for horses was meant to be a hobby and not a job. I received my bachelor’s degree in advertising and, later, my master’s degree in pharmaceutical marketing and regulatory writing from Temple University. Since graduating, I’ve quickly worked my way through the ranks at Ansys to become a corporate communications manager. I started by managing the corporate blog workflow and publication process. From the initial request to publication, I was there every step of the way communicating with the requestors, customers, and writers. I would edit every blog that came through to ensure it complied with our brand guidelines and made sense structurally and grammatically. When our previous managing editor retired, I stepped in to publish the first Ansys Advantage issue of 2024, which was healthcare focused. I coordinated, scheduled, and performed all the customer interviews and assigned the stories to either myself or freelance contractors. I managed the customer relations and obtained communications and legal approval to use the articles for different marketing purposes. Currently, I assist the healthcare industry director with internal and external marketing materials. My primary focus is on customer success stories and technical thought leadership white papers. In addition, I was given primary ownership of the corporate style guide to maintain and update after the previous owner left. From writing web copy, social posts, and blogs to managing people and processes, I can adapt to almost anything thrown my way. Being a wearer of many hats has helped me become the writer and editor I am today, and I would love to add your project to my hat rack.
