I\'m passionate about cause-oriented communications that build trust, drive impact, and uplift communities. With experience in higher education, government, and the nonprofit sector, I bring a mission-driven approach to storytelling, public engagement, and strategic brand visibility. In each role, I\'ve led media relations, social media management, website oversight, and strategic campaign development. I help organizations amplify their message while deepening community connections. At Central Carolina Community Foundation, I developed accessible marketing resources for over 500 nonprofits participating in Midlands Gives, the region\'s largest giving day. Our collaborative effort resulted in a record-breaking $4.5 million raised in just 18 hours, directly supporting local missions across the Midlands. Currently, I serve as a public information officer at the Fifth Judicial Circuit Solicitor\'s Office, overseeing public messaging and communications strategy. A highlight in this role was coordinating an expungement ceremony honoring 1960s civil rights activists. I managed media coverage and event logistics, resulting in 115+ media placements across 19 states and five countries. What I value most in my work is serving as a bridge between institutions and the communities they serve. At the Solicitor\'s Office, I lead communications for outreach programs, including expungement and driver\'s license reinstatement clinics, in partnership with nonprofits and government agencies. These initiatives remove barriers to employment, housing, and documentation for individuals affected by the criminal justice system, helping them move forward. I\'m motivated by purpose, driven by impact, and always seeking opportunities to use communications as a tool for equity, access, and sustainable change.
