This is my husband\'s business owning four community pharmacies in Berks/Bucks. I assist as and when necessary providing legal and HR support and acting as Data Protection Officer. I have handled all legal aspects of the purchase of three and the disposal of one community pharmacy, together with the creation of two new pharmacy businesses. and prepared for and attended several oral hearings with the NHS Litigation Authority to (successfully) defend our businesses from predatory actions by third parties.Newdays Pharmacy was named \"Pharmacy Business of the Year 2021\" by peers at the Independent Pharmacy Awards as a result its response to the COVID pandemic during which we set up and managed a mass vaccination site in Buckinghamshire delivering the vaccine to over people via the deployment and management of a volunteer workforce. I oversaw the implemented the governance frameworks required to set up the centre as well as spent many hours assisting at the frontline in whatever capacity required on the day.
