ABOUT ALIX GINSBERG

With over a decade of experience in legislative and federal affairs, I am a passionate and effective advocate for the field of psychology and its applications to public health, education, and social justice. As the Senior Director of Congressional and Federal Relations, Special Projects at the American Psychological Association (APA), I lead strategic initiatives to advance the association\'s policy priorities and influence decision-makers at the highest levels of government. I also oversee the development and implementation of APA\'s grassroots advocacy campaigns to mobilize the psychology community and other stakeholders. I have a Master of Public Health degree from the George Washington University and a Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University. I possess strong skills in social networking, strategic thinking, and politics, as well as a deep knowledge of the issues and challenges facing the psychology profession and the populations it serves. I am driven by a mission to promote the public interest and the well-being of individuals and communities through evidence-based policy and practice. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the APA team, as well as a commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
