Duties include managing 1,500 properties within Hertfordshire, carrying out stock condition duties, void inspections, planning applications, surveying party walls, issuing party wall notices, investigating for planned and routine repairs, running maintenance programs, managing kitchen, bathroom and window refurbishments and other alterations, carrying out asbestos assessments, health and safety and fire risk assessments of communal areas, carrying out condensation and damp assessments, attending handover inspections with major house builders, developers and development officers, undertaking final inspections and snagging, estate inspections, investigating defects and resolution, submitting insurance building guarantee claims, organising monthly contractor meetings, writing specifications and contract administration. Skills gained: Problem solving, client liaison, property management, general surveying practices and knowledge of legislation requirements
