ABOUT ALISTAIR MCPHERSON
I\'m a certified finance professional with 13 years experience advising retail and commercial clients in high street banks and independent financial services firms. Throughout my career, I have successfully financed property acquisitions and developments using mortgages, bridging and commercial loans ranging from £50k to £112m. My ability to effectively scrutinise opportunities and assess risk has enabled me to secure funding at competitive rates for complex and non-standard property developments. In my early years, I held various advisory and relationship management roles in Branch Network, Underwriting and Risk Management teams at Abbey National (Santander) and Co-operative Bank. More recently, I\'ve held partnerships at independent bridging and commercial finance brokerages, placing in excess of £10m per year. In my current role as Director of Seedling Finance, I am leading the fundraising efforts to establish a £30m fund for an exciting new bridging finance company that offers investors higher than average returns for a security backed loan.
