Frameshift Labs is developing software to make genomic analysis accessible to a wide range of users, from expert bioinformaticians, medical geneticists, clinicians, to individual patients. Our software is being used at the University of Utah to support newborn sequencing analysis in the NICU as well as the rare disease and Undiagnosed Diseases Network clinical site. I have authored multiple successful NIH small business grants for Frameshift, as well as acted as the site lead for Frameshift on a number of collaborative grants with the University of Utah. These include building a longitudinal genomic diagnostics platform for long-term diagnostic care, and an NHLBI project to disseminate model organism omics data (primarily RNA-Seq data) for cardiovascular research.
