My technical experience covers a wide variety of mechanical and related technology, with particular experience in the fields of medical surgical devices, automotive engineering, heavy machinery, and oil exploration and recovery (including offshore and deepsea technology), as well as mechanical packaging, paper-handling and printing devices, semiconductor processing, pipe-laying methods and equipment, and computer-implemented inventions such as design methods.Specialties: I specialise in post-grant opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO); patent prosecution before the EPO and UK Intellectual Property Office; and opinion work concerning freedom-to-operate and patent validity and infringement in UK and Europe.
