ABOUT ALISTAIR RENNIE

Alistair is a Partner at EMBLEM Developments, bringing over 15 years of experience in end-to-end design, pre-construction, and development management. He leads the execution of complex residential and mixed-use projects, overseeing them from early-stage design through to construction commencement with a strong focus on constructability, design development, sales and underwriting.Since joining EMBLEM in 2019, Alistair has been instrumental in scaling the business, progressing from Director to Vice President, and now Partner. His portfolio includes several high-profile developments across the Greater Toronto Area, and he is known for his attention to detail, collaborative leadership style, and deep technical expertise.Prior to EMBLEM, Alistair held senior roles at Multiplex Construction Canada, a Brookfield company, where he managed a wide range of large-scale residential projects including Transit City Phases 1 & 2, Centre Point, and Junction House, among others. Earlier in his career, he contributed to landmark projects in the UK, including the transformation of London’s Centre Point Tower, a Grade II-listed icon in the heart of the city.Alistair’s global perspective is shaped by experience across the UK, Canada, and India, where he volunteered with SEEDs India, supporting community-driven development initiatives in New Delhi.He holds a First Class Honours Degree in Architecture from Oxford Brookes University and a Diploma in Architecture from Kingston University.
