ABOUT ALISTAIR MATTHEWS

An ambitious Regional Director with 20 years of experience in the Insurance industry dedicated to maintaining highest quality standards. I am consistently looking at ways to improve the business by developing individuals to achieve more. I also share my innovative methods across the business where they are frequently adopted for improved performance. In January 2012 Alistair was one of just 75 staff recognised at the Towergate Top Performers conference. In 2013 he was made a Branch Director at just 35 years of age. In 2014 in difficult trading conditions he grew his area by EBITDA and contributed 3/5th’s of the South region year on year growth. In 2016 his area came 3rd out of 27 in their division and the Thames Valley was awarded “Broker of the Year” for the most consistent delivery of metrics including income (5% Growth YOY), EBITDA (33% Growth), Retention (94.2%) and new business 2017 he was selected for the Extraordinary Leaders program, one of just two from the South. In 2018 he established the Regional Placement Role and built a framework that was replicated across the business. In 2020 he was promoted to MD of Henley and Jersey branches. In 2022 he left Towergate with his offices top of the region and both performing at the highest level in their history.
