Aliss Wang, M.A, LMFT, PATP, ELI-MP is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider with private practices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. She works with adults and relationships navigating life transitions, communication challenges, and high-stakes periods of responsibility or visibility—offering psychotherapy that is emotionally attuned, grounded, and oriented toward clarity that carries into daily life.Her work draws from Gestalt therapy, the Tamura Method, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, with psychedelic preparation and integration offered when appropriate. The focus is on helping insight translate into clear decisions, emotional steadiness, and sustained movement forward. In addition to psychotherapy, she offers coaching when clinically appropriate and serves as a trainer and facilitator in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.Aliss has contributed to MDMA and psilocybin clinical studies through roles with UCSF’s Translational Psychedelics Research Program, Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI), Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and LoveYourBrain Foundation, and currently serves on the board of the Bay Area Gestalt Institute. Her perspective is further shaped by harm-reduction first-response experience and lived and professional experience in the United States, Taiwan, China, and the United Kingdom.
