ABOUT ALISSA MURRAY

As a Senior Recruitment Coordinator for SevenStep, working on accounts serving multiple high-stakes companies, I helped ensure a smooth connection between employers and potential employees throughout the hiring process, from interviews through background screenings and on-boarding. Five years of extensive coordinator experience and a wealth of prior customer service and editorial experience will allow me to help you manage your potential hires in a professional and efficient manner- I am also an experienced writer and editor with a passion for telling stories and helping people produce the highest quality writing possible. My writing and editorial experience spans short and long fiction, non-fiction stories, reviews, research papers and journal articles, and I have worked to help non-native English speakers improve the readability of their content. I have also worked at two journals in a wide variety of roles from administrative and team management to selecting and editing content, including working as the Editor in Chief of the Harvard Asia Quarterly, a scholarly journal covering a variety of topics relating to Asian culture, politics and history.
