ABOUT ALISSA POLAND

I graduated with a B.S from Colorado School of Mines in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering minor. I am very passionate about medical technology, humanitarian work, and the ways in which technology can improve people\'s lives and wellbeing. I worked hard to develop strong leadership and communication skills at CSM as a Peer Mentor, and was awarded the 2019 Student Philanthropist of the Year award. My first job after graduating was on the manufacturing floor at Novartis Gene Therapies as a Bioprocess Engineer, which provided me with robust experience working in a FDA regulated cGMP environment, in addition to equipment validation, controlled document authoring/reviewing, and aseptic processing techniques. Following that role, I began work as a contract project engineer with Capstone Inc and Vista Engineering Group. I was able to work on capital projects at Corden Pharma Colorado which was a fantastic, fun and fast paced learning experience. This role helped me develop my organizational, communication, technical and overall engineering skills. I helped manage and complete two capital projects to install tank systems that helped the site reduce waste and utilize materials as by-product. I am extremely excited about my current role as Partner with Catalyze Consulting Group LLC, and I cannot wait for what future projects will teach me. I have been a proven leader throughout college and my career thus-far, and have developed strong project management and leadership skills. I cannot wait to see what other opportunities myself and my team at Catalyze Consulting Group LLC can do to support companies who are focused on providing patient and environmentally focused solutions.
