ABOUT ALISON CORBETT
Alison is an expert in public education, currently focusing on digital storytelling. She works alongside organizations including the Gates Foundation, the High Tech High Graduate School of Education and CASEL to develop editorial content strategies that engage and support educators and school leaders. Prior to joining MissionWired, Alison was a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow and Teach for America Corps member. As an English teacher in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver, she spearheaded concurrent enrollment programming and professional development programming to support first-generation college students\' persistence in higher ed, and is a five-time recipient of Denver Public Schools\' Distinguished teacher award and an adjunct professor for the Profiles of her classroom have appeared in Westword Magazine, The Daily Camera, and the Colorado Arts and Sciences Magazine.
