ABOUT ALISON CIES ROCKWOOD

I’m a product, platform, and partnerships leader with 13+ years of experience building and scaling technology businesses — including co-founding and serving as CEO of Wellspace, a market-leading digital commerce platform acquired by PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP).My career spans big tech, startups, and public-sector technology, with a consistent focus on turning emerging technology into real-world adoption. I’ve led 0→1 product development, complex platform partnerships, and ecosystem strategy across consumer, SMB, and enterprise use cases.I began my career in London as the youngest person on Facebook’s global public policy team, advising governments on digital diplomacy and citizen engagement through technology. I later moved to Silicon Valley where I helped build and launch a portfolio of products that have gone on to form the cornerstone of Facebook’s global connectivity offering. In 2016, I left Facebook to co-found Wellspace, a market-leading digital commerce platform. As CEO, I led product strategy, partnerships, fundraising, and growth through acquisition. Wellspace was acquired by PepsiCo in 2019 and now powers the company’s digital commerce initiatives.Following the acquisition, I joined Meta, where I’ve spent the past 6+ years leading business strategy and developer partnerships. My work focuses on first-of-their-kind partnerships, new monetization models, digital commerce, and shaping product roadmaps in close collaboration with product and engineering teams.I’m particularly energized by the intersection of platforms, AI-enabled products, and ecosystem adoption, and I\'m passionate about helping founders launch and scale startups as an advisor. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University and hold a Master of Science and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford.
