ABOUT ALISON GREENALL
I lead geotechnical input across multiple projects, with experience delivering solutions across rail, highways, defence and water sectors. My focus is on improving how geotechnical engineering is delivered by bringing together engineering expertise, data, and digital tools. I define and embed data-driven workflows that enable more consistent, efficient, and reliable project outcomes.Alongside project delivery, I lead our Ground Engineering & Tunnelling team in Manchester, with responsibility for team development and resourcing across 30+ engineers. As a line manager, I mentor individuals and build capability across the team. I’m passionate about enabling a more digitally literate geotechnical workforce.On the operational side, I use data to improve business performance and planning. I develop dashboards and systems that provide visibility of project performance, spend, and pipeline, supporting strategic decision-making around resourcing, recruitment, and delivery.In addition, I contribute externally through published work and engagement with ICE and AGS.
