About Alison Schweitzer
I am a detail-oriented project manager that is passionate about helping people understand why stormwater pollution is a problem and how they can become part of the solution. I love connecting with people to understand their stories, barriers, and motivators. As a facilitator, I listen with intention to everyone\'s perspectives and ask intentional questions to guide conversations.

I provide detail-oriented project management expertise, working independently and within teams to manage multi-agency, cross-jurisdictional stormwater management projects. Tasks include developing project methodologies and budgets, providing technical analyses, managing data gathering, and coordinating efforts across teams. I also provide internal strategic planning, continuous improvement, and change management support. Some examples of programs and projects I have supported and/or led include- I implement continuous improvement projects across our Section, such as leading succession planning efforts and improving onboarding experiences for new staff- I facilitate a monthly agricultural peer to peer engagement group, which convenes regional partners that work to clean up water quality in the tributaries of the White River in the Enumclaw area- I manage an intersectional team across our Division that strives to strengthen connections and improve collaborations across teams- I have managed several inter-jurisdictional projects for the Stormwater Outreach for Regional Municipalities (STORM) coalition, include a Best Management Practices (BMP) work group and a Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) work group- I managed a Stormwater Action Monitoring (SAM) Mobile Business and Source Control project, creating the scope and budget for the project as well as managing the consultant that supported the project- I developed a pollution identification and correction rebate program for residential and commercial businesses to receive discounts on cleaning their septic systems or side sewers- I am a project coordinator for the Our Green Duwamish (OGD) Core Team. I represent our Division in these inter-jurisdictional meetings, working with regional partners to improve stormwater at a watershed scale.
