About Alison Ledwith
With a combined education in architecture and engineering, I seek to generate transformative experiences in the space that exists between disciplines – inspired by the science of architecture and the art of engineering. My design interests range from social and environmental resilience to scripting and computation. I have contributed to projects across the higher education, government, and behavioral health typologies.My diverse research background includes conducting energy models for improved thermal mass performance at MIT, unearthing the history of the wall and the ceiling with Harvard GSD and AMO/OMA for the 2014 Venice Biennale, and analyzing the functionality and urban form of the refugee camp with both the Affordable Housing Institute and Harvard GSD.
