Since June 2014 my work at The Women\'s Foundation of Colorado (WFCO) has been recognized by increasing responsibility and evolving focus areas-Manager of Programs (June 2014-April 2019)-Director of Programs (April 2019-August 2023)-Director of Programs, Policy & Advocacy (August 2023-May 2025)-Director of Policy & Advocacy (May 2025-present)*Policy & advocacy: Lead WFCO’s policy & advocacy strategy including determining priorities to advance gender, racial, and economic equity, establish coalitions, advocacy engagement, manage contract lobbyist, evaluate policy opportunities, and partner with elected officials.*Grantmaking: Established two multi-year grantmaking strategies and a rapid respond COVID fund including creating strategy with diverse stakeholders, writing guidelines and applications, reviewing applications and conducting site visits, and overseeing decision making.*Leadership: Oversaw leadership program for high school students, managed programs assistant, fellow, interns, and consultants to further goals of organization.*Evaluation and Learning: Supported creation of evaluation and learning for organizational and individual initiatives, deep understanding of values based evaluation and commitment to centering most impacted voices.*Communications: Created content for digital media including website, blog, and social media, participated in media interviews and as spokesperson at events, led narrative change campaign including polling and strategic messaging.*Subject matter expert: Regularly invited to speak on panels and at events on topics related to the intersection of gender, racial, and economic equity including early care and education, reproductive health care including access to abortion, direct cash and guaranteed income, and progressive philanthropic practices.*Development and fundraising: Partnered with development staff to create major gift strategy, written grants and reports, successfully maintained donor relationships.
