ABOUT ALISON TILBE
My career in the UN (UNICEF & UNHCR) and UK charities has seen me managing and leading across both fundraising, brand and communications. I build and lead high-performing teams and high impact programmes. I created and currently lead UNHCR\'s Goodwill Ambassador Programme. Purpose and authenticity sits at the heart of this work and my goal is to centre refugee voices at the heart of our communications including incredible advocates such as Mary Maker, Alphonso Davies or Emi Mahmoud. I\'m equally proud of the initiatives I\'ve created or kick-started over the years, including Soccer Aid and Change for Good which delivered huge public engagement and income. I\'ve led on multi-media partnerships including Long Way Round and UNHCR social impact for the TV series Stateless. I\'ve recruited high profile supporters to causes & stewarded their support, including Cate Blanchett, Ben Stiller, Ewan McGregor, Robbie Williams, David Beckham. I am currently leading for UNHCR\'s global communications service on climate crisis communications and ethical guidelines on communications.
